It all started in 1946…
On his way back to New York after serving in World War II, Mr. Greenberg acquired the funds to open his dream bakery after a few lucky streaks while playing cards. Since signing his lease on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and opening the doors of WIlliam Greenberg Desserts, our bakery has been a favorite to generation after generation of New Yorkers.
From our classic Black & White Cookies, to our delicious brownies, and delectable rugelach, since opening in 1946 we have worked tirelessly to maintain Mr. Greenberg's standards of excellence; always using the freshest and best ingredients available to ensure we provide you with the best product possible.
