William Greenberg Desserts owner Carol Becker is taking her love of baking beyond New York City this November as a featured speaker at the 2026 Jewish Book Month Speaker Series in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
Recently highlighted in the Jewish Journal, Carol will discuss her cookbook, William Greenberg Desserts Bakes Vegan, and how nearly 80 years of beloved bakery traditions inspired a fresh approach to classic Jewish desserts.
On Sunday, November 8, at 11 a.m., Carol will join Lilly Tapper, owner of Three Hundred Fifty Bakery in Swampscott, for a conversation about Jewish baking, cherished traditions, and the growing appeal of plant-based desserts.
Featuring 50 recipes, William Greenberg Desserts Bakes Vegan reimagines bakery favorites, from cinnamon rolls and iced sugar cookies to apricot cheesecake, without sacrificing the flavors that have made William Greenberg Desserts a New York institution since 1946.
Part of the Jewish Community Center of the North Shore's annual Jewish Book Month celebration, the event includes brunch and vegan desserts, along with an opportunity to connect over a shared love of baking.
