A Sweet Stop on Madison Avenue

Madison Avenue has no shortage of places to stop for something good, so we were pleased to see William Greenberg Desserts included in the Madison Avenue BID’s recent Guide to Desserts & Coffee.

The guide calls William Greenberg a historic Upper East Side institution, open since 1946, and highlights many of the things our customers have been coming back for over the years: Black & White Cookies, rugelach, brownies, butter cookies and celebration cakes.

That list feels familiar for a reason. William Greenberg has been part of the neighborhood for generations, serving the classics New Yorkers know and returning to them again and again.

And in summer, there is another reason to stop by: Italian ice and a seat outside on Madison Avenue.

We are proud to be part of a neighborhood with such a strong sense of place, and even happier to be one of its sweeter stops.
